MY BOOK ON MAPPILA REBELLION RELEASED

The book, VARIYANKUNNANTE KASAPPUSALA, (Mappila's Slaughterhouse), authored by me, has been released by Ram Madhav, former National General Secretary of the BJP, at Kozhikode. The copy was received by C V Ananda Bose. It is published by Kurukshethra Books, Kaloor, Kochi. Price Rs 400, pages 450.


The book is a compilation of the court judgements, on the Mappila Rebellion of 1921, and more.


The function was the national level inauguration of the Mappila Riots Victims Remembrance Year.

Ram Madhav is a member of the national rexecutive council of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and has authored few books. His latest is Uneasy Neighbours: India and China after Fifty Years of the War.

This is the seventh book on Mappila rebellion, I am associated with. I have written Malabar Jihad, and translated  The Mappila Revolt Gandhi didn't See, by Sir C Sankaran Nair and Moplah Rebellion 1921 by C Gopalan Nair. A Major work by me in English, The Complete History of 1921, is due for publication. Garuda Prakashan has agreed to publish, Wrath and Revenge in Malabar. I have also completed another book in Malayalam, Mappila Rebellion in Literature.

My first book in English, Militant Islam: Mecca to Delhi, will be published soon, by Garuda Prakashan.
